Podcast Journalist & Host (Project-to-Project)
We are looking for an engaging, articulate, and empathetic Podcast Journalist/Host to conduct high-quality interviews with our authors. This is a part-time, project-to-project role, perfect for someone who enjoys flexible hours and connecting with writers across various genres.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct Professional Interviews: Lead engaging, 30-minute to 1-hour podcast interviews (virtual or in-person) that highlight the author's book and their unique journey.
Research & Preparation: Prepare for each interview by reading the author's provided materials, ensuring insightful and thoughtful questions.
Maintain Brand Standards: Uphold the high-quality, welcoming atmosphere of Authors Radio in every interaction.
Production Collaboration: Work with our production team to ensure audio/video assets meet our 5-star delivery standards.
Who You Are:
A Natural Conversationalist: You have the ability to make guests feel comfortable, heard, and excited to share their story.
A Storyteller: You know how to guide a narrative and keep an audience engaged.
Reliable & Organized: You are comfortable working remotely, manage your schedule effectively, and meet project deadlines consistently.
Technically Proficient: You have reliable internet, a high-quality microphone/headset, and a quiet, professional environment for recording (or access to our studio for local in-person segments).
